After visiting your home for a free initial estimate, we will arrange a day and time period for your clean. Usually, our clients will be out of the property and our cleaners will have access to a key/key box. Once finished, they will lock up and you will be sent an invoice that same day. However, if you work from home or would prefer to be in the property, we are happy to work around you!
You will have the same cleaner for each clean. You are able to contact them directly and we encourage you to share your preferences with them. You are more than welcome to arrange a meeting with them beforehand to ensure you feel comfortable and happy with them.
We will discuss specifics within your estimate visit, but in general our domestic cleans include surface cleaning, thorough bathroom and kitchen cleaning, full hoover and mop through - as well as kitchen cupboard fronts, dusting of all surfaces and knick knacks and removal of cobwebs.
There are two options for payment:
All payments must be made through bank transfer, direct debit or cheques made out to Rosie's Housekeeping. Cleaners will not accept cash. Invoices will be sent with payment details and clean specifics on the day of each clean - or at the start of each month.
We provide all cleaning materials and products, but we ask that our clients provide heavier equipment such as hoovers, mops and steam mops. Our insurance covers our cleaners for us on these.
Some clients also prefer that we use their products - this is fine but please make us aware on the initial visit. We are mindful of our environmental impact, so all of our products are refills and do not contain harsh chemicals.
For domestic cleaning, we ask that clients spend a couple of minutes tidying before we clean to ensure that surfaces are reachable and we have enough time to clean thoroughly.
The only people with access to your keys will be the office manager and the cleaner for your home. Keys are stored in a safe when in our care, and will never be labelled with client names or addresses. If you have any concerns about key usage or storage, please contact us.
If possible, we prefer keys to be stored in key safes at your home.
We will contact you to arrange an alternative.
We will do our best to accommodate your wishes. However, our cleaners work on a busy schedule so it may not always be possible to provide an exact time, but we can offer morning or afternoon time frames on your preferred day.
